Start with how you will use the car

The right vehicle depends on daily distance, charging or refuelling access, road conditions, passenger needs and your budget. A headline price is only one input.

Compare ownership costs

Consider purchase price, running costs, scheduled maintenance, parts availability, service support and likely resale demand. For an EV, add charging access, battery condition where relevant and the terms of any confirmed warranty.

Check the evidence behind the offer

Ask who provides the warranty, where service is available and what is included in the transaction. Confirm the vehicle-specific documents and condition rather than relying on general model advertising.

The question to ask

Which vehicle makes sense to own, maintain and eventually sell for the way you actually use it?

These are general evaluation principles, not a live price, policy update or asset valuation. Transaction-specific costs and requirements should be verified before a decision.
